6 Days Sumba Island Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Bali - Tambolaka - Newa Resort (west Sumba)
Starting in Bali at your hotel, you will begin with being picked up from your hotel in Bali and escorted to the airport where you will take a morning flight to Tambolaka in West Sumba. One you arrive you will meet your guide and head to the Newa Resort which will be your main accommodation for the trip. You will then travel to see the Waitabula area where you will be able to view the local markets and see the production of the local Ikat cloth as well as having the chance to purchase some at very low prices. After this you will get the opportunity to relax on the beach and take a stroll around the traditional harbor area.
Day 02 : Newa Resort - Kodi - Waikabubak
After your first night at the resort you will eat breakfast and then head to Kodi where you will see Kodi, Bondo Kawango and Pero Beach. You will see the local traditional culture visible in all of these locations as well as local ceremonies and eat a packed lunch. Afterwards you will then go to the Monalisa Cottages and spend the afternoon around the Tarunga and Waitabula areas as well as seeing the graves and markets before heading back to your hotel.
Day 03 : Waikabubak - Wanukaka - Lamboya
